Working at one of the Telstra store (Australia telecommunication corp)~ without fail there will be at least one customer that walks in the store and asks "Do you sell iPhone?" everyday.
It seems that Steve Jobs had made the right choice employing price penetration, which is to set low price at the introductory stage of iPhone 3G, hoping to capture a large amount of market share.
Albeit the exclusive features of this unit with the combination of mobile phone + iPod + Internet, Steve Jobs asserted
"I'm very happy to tell you, the iPhone 3G is gonna sell from US$199"Consumers really doubt that it will be offering at such good price! I doubt it myself! But it seems that the validity of this news is heightening!
