Getting my skates on!

Earnestly, I have been slacking a little ever since my week break started, always giving myself excuses
"I don't have to rush, I have a week to do it". My work is progressing in such a slow pace, everything's still hanging!

Yesterday, when i peeped into the letter box, I saw an envelope with my name printed on it and my Uni's logo on the top right. I was like hmmm~ what is this? The letter looked rather different compared to the ones i received, usually on improving uni's service, invoice, student guild, etc. It has those white cursive 'Curtin' words printed on a light purple sheet, projected a luxury look ;) The letter reads:

Your performance in Semester 1, 2008 has put you into this category. It is a pleasure to offer you my congratulations on this achievement...

My feeling: omg! are you serious?
and, it rings the bell! what am I doing? its my final semester! I better get my skates back on!

Oxford Brookes University Convocation

nah~ its not my convocation.. I still hv approximately 6 weeks to finish my final semester, time flies doesn't it? Oh yea, back to the topic - OBU's convocation, my dear's graduation! CONGRATULATIONS DEAR~ wheeee

Alas, I was not able to attend the ceremony.. sobs sorry dear.. but I'll try to attend ur next ACCA convocation! so all the best in your studies and work! xoxo!

Another day~

Finalleeeeeeee~~ a week break..
but there's a long list of things to do :(

Yesterday, I went to gym! hmmm.. not to keep fit~ its for my research on services *urgh* but I joined the 14 days free trial! I'll make sure that I maximise the utilisation~~! After that, I went to Utopia for Karaoke! oh i miss singing so much! *oops* didn't snap any pictures, was too busy emo-ing in the room with my sis hehehe.. its my therapy for stress :D

Had dinner at Hawker's Cuisine @ Chung Hua Lane behind Utopia. yup! i have pictures ^.^

Food Ratings: Mee Kolok - Not bad!, Coffee S/Ribs - It tasted okay~ but its like something's missing, 3-layer Coffee - Yummy!

A Sudden Craving for Dim Sum~~~

Because of ↑, my sis and I decided to go and try Emma's Seafood.. We have been staying in Vic Park for more than a year but hardly eat at the restaurants along Albany highway, vic park.. and we just realised that there are soo many delicacies along the highway!! T.T All sorts of cuisines~~ italian, korean, japanese, vietnamese, asian, etc... well, since I was craving for dim sum, I went to dim sum restaurant~ and here it is:

Yes, I have been watching Olympics these few days~ to support cute guys LOL! and.. while watching the Basketball match between China and US.. *I noticed~~* omg! China's no.11 is really cute! lol..

So, went to googled him! :p typed~ China no.11 cos I forgotten his name T.T

and I went, ouu~~~ 易建联 Yi Jian Lian~~ so he is a NBA player in team New Jersey Nets lol~ and he is born in yr 1987! same as me HAHA.. but he doesn't look that young to me! mayb its because of his height: 7-footer!!! 0.0 no wonder he is called "the next Yao Ming"..

but he looks tiny beside Yao Ming o.O What will happen to me if I stand beside Yao Ming?! ><

Spectacular Moment in Beijing

A breath-taking moment~
Zhang Yimou's idea on the Wong Fei Hung style of running in the air to light the torch appears to be better than the archer shooting a lighted arrow to the flame cauldron during the Barcelona Olympics.

Everyone claimed that it was extremely spectacular and was surprised to see such a magnificent method to light the torch! The Best so far!

That's what I'm experiencing now :( not in love but in my final semester. Its only my second week, and the things that I have to do is just SO MUCH. Classes of 2 days a week, ain't that sound nice? but how come I still find that time is so limited! Tried to space out giving high priority to my studies, so only working 2 days a week... can't shop so much edi~~~

Now, I'm leaving my books aside to relax a while, and too bad my blog's the victim for me to spill my emotions.. hehe Thanks bloggie :D

hmm...*Looking at my planner*, lotsa things to do tomorrow~
gotta go to the selected fitness centers to ask their permission to conduct a survey on the services provided and to interview the management. Just hope that everything will go smoothly for me pray pray pray, I don wanna go running everywhere to get approvals...
gotta summarise the case study for my coming lectures...
gotta write notes on my previous lecture...
gotta read up Bitner article...
gotta finish up my news critique...

Perth's showing So You Think You Can Dance Season 4 now - every Wednesday and Friday 7.30pm and you really must see this!

Robert Muraine, the BEST Popper I'd ever seen!

He is extremely flexible, really gets you poppin' when u see him dance!
He got through the audition and head Vegas but dropped out during the first day, he claimed that he is not a choreographer and only dances Pop/Lock Dance, and he decided to give up.

Well, I believe that he will excel in his field, I'm sure everyone agrees!

Oh and, I'm getting really busy since Uni starts.. so, won't be blogging as often as I was during the holz, but I'll update my blog once I find the time~
